Welcome to the Shawsville Farmers' Market!
It's Rover the Duck's favorite farmers' market!
The Shawsville Farmers' Market, in
beautiful downtown Shawsville,
Virginia, is open this Saturday,
9 a.m. - noon.
We'll be in the grass
in front of Meadowbrook.
This week, we’ll have broccoli,
radishes, zucchini, lettuce, granola,
yellow squash, green beans,
cucumbers, spaghetti squash,
potatoes, kale, and herbs.
Saturday, June 18, was our
in honor of
International Knit in Public Day.
Kiina was busy teaching knitting and
...and the rest of us were busy stitching.
Monday is the Fourth of July, and you know what that means: you'll be in Shawsville!
The 5K and Fun Run begin at 8 a.m. Tell the registrars if you're competing in the Fastest Family competition. Information: Marvin Ballard at 268-1812 or shawsville5K@gmail.com.
Then get ready for the Parade at 5:00 p.m. (contests for the Most Patriotic and Best Overall floats), and the events at the Middle School (5-9 p.m.): music, auctions and raffles, children’s games, a bicycle-decorating contest for kids age 10 and under, face painting, food and drinks, vendors, and a magician! The festivities are capped off at dark with the best fireworks around, sponsored by Sisson and Ryan! For more details, see https://www.facebook.com/ShawsvilleRuritan.
We're usually on the grass along the Rt. 460 side of the Meadowbrook Center in downtown Shawsville, Virginia, with hours of 9 a.m. - noon.
Please be safe out there this week, and every week. Remember:
Turn Around. Don't Drown.
We want to see you each week!

Thanks for joining us in 2015 for Garden Day and the Tractor Show on May 2nd, and the EastMont Tomato Festival on August 15, 2015! We regret that it was necessary to cancel 2015's Fall Harvest Festival due to historic flooding.
