The Shawsville Farmers' Market, in

beautiful downtown Shawsville,

Virginia, is open

this Saturday,

July 22, 2017,

for Christmas in July

in the grass along the 460/11 side

of Meadowbrook,

10 a.m. - 3 p.m.


This week:

eggs, produce, apple butter, plants, crafts, free popcorn, free cotton candy, free snow cones, stories, kids' crafts, and loads, and loads more.

And Santa Claus!


Shawsville Farmers' Market will be providing free snow cones, cotton candy, and popcorn. Meadowbrook  Library's resident elf will be telling stories and leading crafts. And Santa will be there!
We will be open

Saturdays, generally 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.,

through October 7, 2017 -

but 10-3 this week!


We’re open rain or shine.

Always watch out for flooded roads.


Turn around, don’t drown.

We welcome new vendors for the 2017 season - starting again next week!
The Shawsville Farmers' Market will be open for the 2017 season on Saturdays, from May 6th
through October 7th. Yes, we have craft items, too!



We're usually on the grass along the Rt. 460 side of the Meadowbrook Center in downtown Shawsville, Virginia, with hours of 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

The Shawsville Farmers' Market is a community service. We charge no booth rental fees or commissions, and parking is free. You do not need to sign a contract. Staff members are unpaid. You may be a produce and/or craft vendor if you live in Montgomery County or one of the surrounding areas (the counties of Floyd, Pulaski, Giles, Craig, or Roanoke, and the cities of Radford, Salem, and Roanoke). You must be at least 17 years old (or 16 with written parental permission) to donate, and there is no upper age limit.

  One donation can save up to three lives.

Thanks so much to the Virginia Blood Services Donor Honor Roll members who gave the gift of life July 27th.


Since the fall of 2011, VBS has been the sole provider of blood to all Carilion Clinic Hospitals in the Roanoke and New River Valleys, and they are the sole blood provider to all Veterans Affairs Hospitals in Virginia and West Virginia.
